focus

improving digital experiences for b2b customers across healthcare and financial services

from stats class to human-centered design

My journey into design began during my junior year of college. I was sitting in my statistics class when it hit me—I wasn’t on the right path. I hadn’t yet explored what truly made me feel fulfilled. After some soul searching, I realized two things: I love solving problems, and I love creating things. This realization led me to the world of HCI.

As a designer, the core practices remain steady, but the thrill of exploring new problem spaces is what fuels my growth. I’m passionate about using creativity to collaboratively develop solutions that impact real people.

Today, I work for Salesforce’s Customer Success Group, enhancing the mobile and desktop experiences of our B2B customers in industries like healthcare and home improvement.

why i chose a life in color

Growing up, I knew I wanted something different—something colorful. I just didn’t know what that meant yet.

In this audio essay, I reflect on how my childhood, my sister’s cubicle, and a toy laptop led me to discover my passion for design and human-computer interaction.

quick hits...designer edition

AT WORK I'M BEST AT...

Offering a fresh perspective—especially through inclusive design. My grad school background in micro-aggressions and bias influences how I approach accessibility and representation.

THE MOST IMPACTFUL THING I'VE WORKED ON...

Redesigning DigiSwitch, an assistive technology for older adults, to support group monitoring beyond caregivers. Motivated by my grandmother's experience, it helped seniors age in place.
(Bonus: it was even published!)

IN 3 -5 YEARS I WANT TO BE...

I’d like to be progressing toward a leadership role, feeling confident in the company’s design approach, mentoring others, and representing the design team at conferences.

IN MY NEXT ROLE, IT'S IMPORTANT THAT...

I stay engaged with meaningful work across multiple projects. I’m also looking to grow into a leadership path—building strategic skills, leading initiatives, and gaining the experience to move toward a Director or VP of Design role.

COOLEST SIDE PROJECT I'VE BUILT

A string art board of Carolina Panthers legend Thomas Davis. The wild part? I later met him unexpectedly at a restaurant during my sister’s 50th birthday!
